2024 Verses Update
2024 has been a year of incredible growth and we wanted to share it with you!

Over the last 365 days people have listened to the melody of God’s Word through Verses over 17 million timeswith nearly 6 million of them in the last 60 days… and we haven’t even finished the year. To put that in perspective we had a little over 6 million TOTAL in 2023.
Our app has been downloaded over 30k times, with 18k of them in 2024.
This year we have established a partnership with the YouVersion Bible App where we saw Verses become one of the top 5 followed partners on their platform in one day, with our verse of the day videos being viewed over 8 million times. We are now talking and dreaming with the Bible App team about what’s next for Verses on their platform.
We recently produced over 150 lyric videos which will be released on YouTube and the Verses App soon.
We have 2 internal projects that we have been working tirelessly on this year. 1) The first is designed for our donor community where we’re creating a more relational and immersive experience for our partners who make Verses possible, so that you can stay more connected and even receive exclusive resources. The second is a project designed around our desire to become a greater resource for the church - fueled by our vision to see congregations singing God’s Word more frequently together.
We haven’t announced this yet, but Verses is releasing its first book! It will be a 52 week guided devotional through the Psalms, including meditations written by Joel, and daily guides to help people meditate and memorize scripture, along with our songs. We are very close to releasing it and expect it to be available within the next month.
This next week Joel and I are going on tour with Citizens where we will be singing our songs and inviting people to sing God’s Word with us on the road.
There are so many testimonies that we could share with you about how Verses is impacting individuals and groups across the world. We have been busy doing what we believe God has called us to in making our resources available to as many people as possible and it has been fruitful beyond our dreams.
I mention all of this because we are growing at a rate that we never imagined and need to finish the year strong. We have always run on a very small budget compared to our level of reach, but we need your help!
We are aiming to raise at least $15k over the next two weeks to help us finish the year strong.
$15k will help us meet our financial needs through the end of the year and allow us to focus on our goals going into the end of the year. We will start our actual EOY giving campaign for 2025 in a couple months.
We ask that you prayerfully consider giving now to help us continue to put melody to God’s word in 2024 and help as many people as possible hide His Word in their hearts. We truly believe it is one the most powerful things we can do for people in this cultural moment.
