A 2023 Reflection

Every year, we take the opportunity to reflect on all the Lord has done and how he has moved through Verses in lives over the last 12 months. It is incredibly encouraging to receive emails and messages on how Verses has impacted individuals, families, and churches.

We believe in the power of God’s Word, and desire that as many people as possible experience the melody of God’s Word through Verses. We hope you are as encouraged as we are by the number of people who listened to Verses songs in 2023! What a wild thing that hundreds of thousands of people have hidden the transforming Word of God in their hearts. They have sung and meditated on God's Word in darker moments of grief and defeat, but also in brighter times of victory and celebration.

Over the last year, people listened to the melody of God’s Word over 5 million times on Spotify and Apple Music alone. In homes, on road trips, on morning commutes, while working out, in churches, during family devotions or chores, and even while giving birth God’s Word met people at the intersections of their lives.

Verses has grown from a small group of friends to a global reach of people experiencing God’s Word in a new meditative, and immersive way.

A few years ago we released the “Verses: Melody of God’s Word” app for free.

Since the launch, thousands of people have downloaded the app. This vehicle has given us a closer relationship with our listeners, a more undistracted listening experience, and the ability to send out early releases as a bonus to our app users.
